The accident which involved an articulated vehicle and a commuter bus belonging to Benue Links Transport Company saw 17 people perish in the collision.

Mrs. Ortom who was impressed by her rehabilitation said she would continue to put Mrs. Yanjo in prayers along with those who had lost loved ones to the cold hands of death.
The wife of the Governor was accompanied by the wife of the Benue State Speaker Mrs. Pauline Uba and was conducted round the ward by Rev. Fr. Theophilus Hwande where she also offered some assistance to patients in the ward.
