The Best Nigerian Rappers In 2018 So Far (Do You Agree)?

We are in the seventh month of the year and I’m sure we have all heard interesting rap tracks over the last few months.
Definitely we all have some tracks and lines we believe are superb, the one’s many people consider to be better than the rest.
We have taken our time to list out the top 5 hottest rappers this year so far, when it comes to how successful the rap tracks they’ve released are and the amazing lyrics and lines in them.

1. Olamide

Olamide for long has topped the list of Nigeria’s hottest rappers, he is so phenomenal and consistent.
His successful works in the last couple couple months puts him on top of this list, with hits like Science StudentKana featuring Wizkid, and a couple other successful collabos has got him on top of this list.

2. M.I Abaga

So the award winning rapper is believed by many to be one of the greatest rappers of our time.
The man dropped an unexpected album earlier this year titled ‘Rendezvous‘ with amazing tracks and dope lines.
The rapper promised to release a second album titled Young Denzel in May but we have not heard anything since. Many fans are definitely waiting on this.

3. Phyno

Of course you would expect baba Igbo to follow on this list, Phyno’s works in the last couple months has been nothing but great, with Bangers like Isi EgoOnyeoma featuring Olamide and NWA featuring Wale, the man has done some great collabos this year also.

4. Falz

Falz has been nothing but great these last months, he’s got his Wande Coal collabo titled Way still buzzing the air waves and his This Is Nigeria cover is just nothing but brilliant.
After shooting videos for the songs on his album those songs have trended since.

5. Dremo

The DMW act recently released his Codename E.P and if you’ve listened, you would agree he deserves this spot.
The young rapper has been really versatile since his industry entry, he’s got some amazing songs on his recently released EP with songs like: DapadaUnbelievaKpa and with other dope lines he’s layed on several collabos this year, he very deserves this spot.
