Herdsmen kill five in Benue after Vice President Osinbajo left

Fulani herdsmen today 17th May 2018 killed No five persons and many people displaced after suspected herdsmen attacked another community in Benue State.

The attack came barely 24 hours after Vice President Vice Osinbajo left the state.

A resident, who gave his name as Joe, said five persons were shot and killed while many  houses were also burnt during the attack
He gave names of the victims as, Bem Torjem, Apedzan Chia, Oryiman Chiakyir,  Asemave Ioryem and Ikpuku Peven of Tse Koya.
“The affected settlements are Tse-Mue, Torkaa, Mgbakpa, Torjem and Ifer community, Gaambe-Tiev Logo LGA of the state.
LibertyNews.ng reported that the herdsmen came at a time farmers were on their way to the farms. There is a great  fear as everybody has now deserted the area,” he said.
