A shocking discovery has been made by the Senate Adhoc Committee investigating Ex-Pension Boss, Abdulrasheed Maina's reinstatement. The committee led by Emmanuel Paulker made a startling revelation during plenary today.

According to TVC News Correspondent, Sumner Shagari Sambo, the Chairman of the Adhoc Committee alleged that his committee discovered a re-looting of about 222 properties including hotels and houses under the watch of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

It is alleged that some officials of the commission perpetrated the act.

Senator Emmanuel Paulker citing orders 43 and 52 reminded the Senate of the need to investigate the recovery of assets by the Presidential Tax force on pension reforms.

In reaction to the news, the Senate mandated the Ad-hoc committee set up for the investigation of the re-instatement of Maina to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the properties recovered by the Presidential task force on pension reform and report back in 4weeks.

Supporting the move, Senator Gbenga Ashafa reminded the Senate that the investigation would be incomplete without finding out what happened to the recovered assets by the Presidential Tax force.
