Hundreds of PDP Members Decamps to APC in Benue State

Hundreds of PDP supporters in Tyough-Tee and Ijaha, Gbaange-Tongo of Mbakyoondo, Gwer-West Local Government Area of Benue State today 6th August, 2016 defected to All Progressives Congress in the State.
Speaking at a ceremony organized at LGEA primary School Anguhar, Special Adviser to the Governor on local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon.Titus Zam advised the defectors to join hands with Governor Samuel Ortom to address current economic challenges in the State.Hon.Zam said in-spite of the numerous debts the Ortom administration inherited from the immediate past government efforts by the Governor are on course to put smiles on the faces of the people through payment of salaries, provision of basic amenities, good health and ensuring welfare of workers.
He assured the people the Ortom administration would continue to accord them a place in his government as he has already done by giving key appointments to sons of the area and promised the defectors equal opportunities in APC.
In separate messages Judge Agagbe, former House of Representatives member for Gwer-Gwer West Prince Simon Aondona and former head of service Dr.Fidelis Anweh admonished the defectors not to be saboteurs or be deceived again but to work and win more people for the party.
Responding on behalf of the defectors elder William Aturuma, Mr James Achibi, all promised to work with the party under the leadership of Hon.Zam in the area and pledged their an alloyed support to Governor Ortom.They promised to work for the success of the party at all levels.
