Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom is to depart the state today for an official trip to the Peoples Republic of China.
Governor Ortom is among Governors on President Muhammadu Buhari's delegation to China and will take part in the 119th Canton Fair.
The Benue State Governor will make a presentation at the opening of the First North Central Nigeria - China Business and Investment Forum scheduled to take place in Guangzhou.
The event will offer members of the Nigerian and Chinese business communities the opportunity to rub minds on current global economic trends.
Governor Samuel Ortom and his counterparts from Kogi, Plateau and Niger states are expected to lead discussions on the roadmap and the gains of doing business in North Central Nigeria.
Other activities lined up for the event include business fair and factory visits by the Nigerian delegation.
