Rep Member Donates Machines to Women in Buruku, Benue State.

The member representing Buruku Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon
Emmanuel Yisa Orker Jev, has donated sewing machines to  all the 13 council ward women leaders, their deputies and selected Tailours in Buruku federal constituency.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries in Burku  local government area of Benue State, Orker Jev said the gesture was part of his efforts to alleviate poverty in the constituency, adding that it was his desire to make the people of the constituency self-sufficient and self-reliant.
He said: My good people of this constituency, in the days ahead, I want to assure you all that I will step up my legislative work and put in the experience I have acquired as your representative over the years to attract more projects and federal presence to this constituency, I appreciate you for always supporting me and my party APC which is set to deliver real dividend of democracy to Nigerian.
I also intend to do more of this empowerment programmes in the nearest future. I, therefore, use this opportunity to urge the beneficiaries of today to put whatever they have received to good use to uplift their well being, I shall be more interactive and consultative in my approach in the days ahead. In this respect, my constituency visits shall become more frequent and regular.
In their responses Mrs Tombo Orban Woman Leader of MBAAPEN council ward who spoke on behalf of women leaders and Cecilia TYONONGO for Tailour expressed their joy over this kind gesture from their representative and call on other well meaning Buruku indigenes to emulate him
The lawmaker was represented by his PA Simon Durah.
