Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and National Ex-officio member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Nelson Alapa has described his purported suspension as the height of political madness.
Chief Alapa and 24 others including Chief Obande Obeya were, Thursday, suspended by the state chapter of the party for alleged anti-party activities during the just concluded senatorial re-run election in Benue South Senatorial district in where the party lost to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“It’s the height of political madness. You just can’t wake up and accuse someone of being involved in anti-party activities without proving it. You just go on air to announce someone’s suspension without following due procedure, that is highly irresponsible,” said Alapa.
