The wife of the Governor of Benue State, and founder of the Eunice spring of Life Foundation, Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom today assured Benue Youths of more intensive and capacity building programmes.

Dr. Mrs. Ortom stated this in her closing remarks at the First ever Benue Youth Entrepreneurship Summit which took place at the Entrepreneurship Development Centre Makurdi.
"We shall organize more intensive training and capacity building programmes and the Best hands will be supported to establish themselves."Mrs. Ortom noted.

She disclosed that women and youth empowerment was one of the focal points of the Eunice spring of Life Foundation, with the aim of adding value to the socio-economic life of the Benue Youth,and make Benue an Entrepreneurship state.

Speaking earlier, the Guest speaker on the last day of the Summit, Engr Nath Apir urged Benue Youths to keep their focus, identify a need and fix it,only then will the Society look up to them for patronage.

The chairman of the central planning committee, Pastor Dave Ogbole informed the youths that every society present opportunities for it's youths to fulfill their dreams. He urged the youths to take advantage of the needs around them to make a name and fortune for themselves.

The participants expressed gratitude to Dr Mrs Eunice Ortom for giving them the opportunity to achieve their dreams.

One of the participants, Miss Atule Sesugh from Mbagbeer council ward of Logo local government appreciated the wife of the Governor for initiating the summit saying it has prepared her to forge ahead with her dreams.
"I really want to thank the wife of the Governor for her efforts in improving the lives of the Benue Youths.
"I feel she organized this summit just for me, am so much grateful.
"God should grant her the grace to organize such programmes for more youths in the future."

Moses Ochola, from Ojuntele village in Apa local government area appreciated Mrs Ortom for giving the youths the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. He called on other youth to shun idleness and get involved in any useful venture that will add value to their individual lives and the society at large.

Another participant, Solomon Mgbanyi from Saghev council ward of Guma local government disclosed that the summit will reshape his life, especially in the area of savings and setting up a Business with little capital.
