PDP CRISIS: PARTY TO WITHDRAW MEMBERSHIP CARD OF SUSWAM, AKPABIO, DOKPESE, OTHERS.

The Amadu Sheriff's faction of the Peoples Democratic Party yesterday in Ibadan vowed to withdraw the membership of a Former Governor of Benue, Gabriel Suswan, Akpabio,Dokpese and others following their indictment in various Judicial Committee of Inquiries and the Efcc. Speaking after the Ekiti primaries held in Ibadan, factional leader, Ali Modi Sheriff told journalist that the step has become necessary in other to purge the Party ofcorruption which has soiled the name of the Party over years.
Sheriff observed that the only way PDP could come back to power in the near future is to eliminate corrupted Party members. He maintained that, the first batch will involve people with high corruption cases running into billions.
Sheriff promise to reposition the party after the exercise. He said, Nigerians will begin love Pdp again if the likes of Suswan and co are not members of the Party.
It could be recalled that, Justice Kpojime's Judicial Committee of Inquiry indicted the Ex Governor of Benue State Dr. Gabriel Torwua Suswan's cabinet for embezzling 107 billion naira during his Eight year stint in Government House. A charge Suswan has never denied.
Two days ago, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested Ex Governor Gabriel Torwua Suswan and Taiwo his corroborator in Abuja for defrauding Benue State Government of 4. 9 billion naira in a scam Pig farm business.
Briefing newsmen on the latest development in Abuja, Efcc zonal coordinator said the arrest has become necessary because the financial crimes watch dog could not make any sense in the deal that got 320 pigs for 4.9 billion naira forcing the price of one pig to hit about 15 million.
