Member representing Adoka/Ugboju state constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Adams Okloho has expressed conditional willingness to become the next Deputy Speaker. He was responding to media reports that he had been earmarked as a possible replacement for embattled Deputy Speaker, Hon James Okefe after the letter was indicted in a report of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over a shady vehicle contract scam.
Hon Okloho said he would assume the office of Deputy Speaker only if he received the backing of Hon Okefe whom he said was his close friend.
“I will succeed the Deputy Speaker who is my brother, only when he ask me to do so. I nominated him for this position, a brother, friend and close pal. Leadership position comes from God.” he said.
