The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon.Titus Zam has charged the acting Chairmen of local government councils in the state to improve on their Internal Generated Revenue ( IGR) in order to complement the federal allocation to the state.
The Special Adviser gave the charged today Thursday 28th July, 2016 during the monthly joint account meeting with the acting Chairmen and local government treasurers of the twenty three local governments in the state.
He, also charged them to imbibe in them the spirit of team work and support for the Ortom administration to succeed.
Hon.Zam charged the acting Chairmen to always stay at their duty posts to enable them monitor security situations and report to the appropriate channels for action
The Special Adviser urged them (DGSAs) to cultivate the information dissemination habit and improve on information network beyond their domains as the present Government was doing everything possible to protect the lives and property of the state.
Responding the state ALGON Chairman and acting Chairman of Gboko Local Government councils, Mr Joseph Apera, assured the Special Adviser of their loyalty and support to Governor Ortom led Admnistration.He promised that the acting Chairmen would intensify efforts to improve on their Internal Generated Revenue ( IGR) to enable them handle sundry problems in their respective areas.
