Former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, has been told to tender an unreserved apology to the good people of Benue for the damages done during his eight years as governor.
Suswam was also told to return all stolen money to the state government before he would be allowed to discuss any issue concerning the well-being of the people.
Speaking with journalists on Sunday, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom on Media, Mr. Godwin Akor, said Suswam had during his tenure engaged boys and girls, men and women under the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme but the people were disengaged at the time.
He said over N2bn SURE-P money was allegedly misappropriated by Suswam’s administration.
Suswam must apologise
