Nigerian Police Rescue 3 Kidnapped Victims in Benue State.



The Police in Benue State have rescued three kidnapped victims from different locations of the state.
The state commissioner of police, Dibal Paul Yakadi said at a news conference yesterday in Makurdi that the victims included two children and a woman who were abducted separately.
According to him, a team of Operation Zenda and SARS operatives rescued a two-year old boy, Chukwuemeka Anigbo who was kidnapped in Makurdi last month and arrested three suspects in connection with the crime.
The woman, Mrs Gloria Igbu popularly known as Madam Oficon, who was kidnapped three weeks ago was rescued unhurt by the SARS operatives who acted on a tipoff and apprehended all 12 suspects fingered in the abduction from various addresses.
Yakadi also said that the third victim, a 12- year old boy, Solomon Anongu of Ihugh village in Vandekiya local government area of the state was rescued from his kidnappers in the bush at Mechanic Village along Otukpo-Enugu road by a police patrol team.
